Notes: Previously located at 42 Cannon Street (1912), 296 Stanton Street (1915), 13 Pitt Street (1919-21), and 155 Ridge Street (1921-32). This congregation has always had the same name, but in 1921, 12 members broke away and organized a new congregation "Tifereth Jehuda Zebi Anshe M'Stretin" which in 1939 was almost extinct. In 1920, the congregation "Atereth Jehuda Zebi Anshe Stretin" provided the passage of Rabbi Yitzchok Isaac Langener from the town of Stretin, Galicia (now in Ukraine), where he was famed as the "Stretiner Rabbi."
