Notes: According to the 1907/1908 American Jewish Year Book, the Erste Shendishower Galitzianer Chevra was then located at 66 Sheriff Street. According to the Jewish Communal Register (1917/1918), the Erste Shendishower Galizianer was an orthodox congregation then located at 92 Columbia Street that had been organized in 1899, had a membership of 75 and a seating capacity of 300, a sick benefit society, and was associated with a cemetery. According to the 1939 WPA Survey, the Erste Shendiszower Galizianer Chevra, known in English as the First Galician Society of Shendiszow, had been organized in 1897, was incorporated in 1898 as the First Sendziszomer Gelizianer Chewre, had previously been located at 45 Sheriff Street for six month in 1937, but was now in 1939 located at 80 Columbia Street.
