According to the 1939 WPA Survey, the Chevra Gamilis Chasidim Anshei Motele, also known as the Chevra Anshei Motele or, in English, the Men of Motele Society, was then located at 184 Henry Street, where it rented the dedicated first floor a two-story 1919 brick building.
